Nature Festival at the Road Museum
The Estonian Road Museum joined the Survival Arts Festival of Nature Creation. The festival will take place in Tartu and South Estonia from 5 to 15 June.
The Survival Arts Festival of Nature invites you to notice the richness of life around us, explore the connections between nature and culture and enjoy nature-inspired creations. In the year of the Cultural Title, the festival is back for its tenth edition – this time bigger and more spectacular, where we explore the intersection of nature and creativity.
As part of the festival, the Road Museum will host 8. and 15. On 15 June, at 12 noon, a guided tour of the exhibition “From the Beast to the Washing Machine” (starting in front of the Varbus post station) and at 13 a workshop on making a toy car from recycled materials in the machine hall classroom.
The tour will be led by researcher-curator Paavo Kroon and the craft workshop by education curator Kerle Kadak.
Entrance to the tour and the crafts is with a museum ticket.
