Since the time of the manor, catering has been offered in the dining hall of the west wing of Alatskivi Castle, and we continue this tradition even today. The mission of our kitchen has always been to remember the history of the castle, and set our menu accordingly. Alatskivi Castle is historically linked by three cultures: the culture of the manor through the baron’s family, the Estonian peasant culture through the servants who worked in the castle, and the Scottish culture, which was very close to the baron’s heart and which is immediately recognizable in the castle’s architecture.
